作者簡(jiǎn)介:Ann Turnbull was born in Hertford during the Second World War and narrowly missed a doodlebug rocket, which blew in all the windows of her grandmother’s house. Since 1974 she has written more than 25 books for children, specialising in stories with historical backgrounds. In 1992 Pigeon Summer was short-listed for both the Smarties Award and the W H Smith Mind-Boggling Books Award.
