北美教師依據(jù)現(xiàn)行美國中小學(xué)教學(xué)大綱“共同核心標(biāo)準(zhǔn)”(Common Core State Standards) 編寫而成，采用全英文方式編寫，為出國留學(xué)早準(zhǔn)備。是繼《美國語文》《英國語文》等經(jīng)典教材之后，專門為國內(nèi)準(zhǔn)備留學(xué)的中小學(xué)生定制的全英文學(xué)習(xí)輔導(dǎo)讀本。對其他英語學(xué)習(xí)者，亦可適用。

    經(jīng)過近兩年的籌劃與實(shí)施，這套依據(jù)現(xiàn)行美國中小學(xué)教學(xué)大綱“共同核心標(biāo)準(zhǔn)”(Common Core State Standards) 而編寫的英語閱讀訓(xùn)練讀本終于問世了！《跟美國學(xué)生同步練閱讀：Smart Reading》這套書是繼《美國語文》《英國語文》等經(jīng)典教材之后，專門為國內(nèi)準(zhǔn)備留學(xué)的中小學(xué)生定制的全英文學(xué)習(xí)輔導(dǎo)讀本。對其他英語學(xué)習(xí)者，亦可適用。

    《跟美國學(xué)生同步練閱讀：Smart Reading》按年級(jí)分冊，首期出版1~6 冊，從教學(xué)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)與英語難度來講，完全對應(yīng)現(xiàn)行美國小學(xué)1~6 年級(jí)。這套新讀本，將為中國學(xué)生評(píng)估自己的語言能力與知識(shí)水平提供一個(gè)較好的參照標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，為他們將來出國續(xù)讀全面打好基礎(chǔ)。

    每一分冊均為65 課，其中包括52 篇閱讀文章和13 課復(fù)習(xí)訓(xùn)練。適合學(xué)生制定一周一課的學(xué)習(xí)計(jì)劃?？紤]到記憶的遺忘規(guī)律，每4 課之后，專門編寫了一次復(fù)習(xí)訓(xùn)練課，讓學(xué)生翻閱和回想所學(xué)內(nèi)容，幫助他們更好地記憶英文詞匯、掌握用法。愿“西方原版教材與經(jīng)典讀物”系列圖書對準(zhǔn)備出國留學(xué)，以及正在學(xué)習(xí)英語的讀者有所幫助！我們期待著傾聽每一位讀者的聲音！

About the Common Core

   The Common Core is a set of high quality academic standards in mathematics and English language arts (ELA).

   In 2009 the state school chiefs and governors that comprise CCSSO and the NGA Center coordinated a state-led effort to develop the Common Core State Standards. Designed through collaboration among teachers, school chiefs, administrators, and other experts, the standards provide a clear and consistent framework for educators.

   The standards were created to ensure that all students graduate from high school with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in college, career, and life, regardless of where they live. The standards define the knowledge and skills students should gain throughout their K-12 education in order to graduate high school prepared to succeed in entry-level careers, introductory academic college courses, and workforce training programs.

   Forty-two states, the District of Columbia, four territories, have voluntarily adopted and are moving forward with the Common Core.
